Spring Concert

2010 Spring Concert Program featured:

Beethoven's String Quartet, Opus 18, No. 1

Randall Thompson's Frostiana--1959 settings of Robert Frost's poems.  The chorale did "The Road not Taken," "The Pasture," "A Girl's Garden," and "Choose Something like a Star." 

Ray Vincent Adams' The Poet's Landscape, Part I--settings of various poems, mostly American. Ray wrote settings for William Blake's "Ah! Sunflower," e.e. cummings' "I thank you God for this most amazing" and "i carry your heart with me," Amy Lowell's "Opel (You are Fire and Ice)" and "The Pond," and Emily Dickinson's "Hope is the Thing with Feathers."
